I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the neurobiology laboratory of Dr. Elba Serrano at the New Mexico State University. My research interest includes studying the mechanisms of autophagy in cancer cells. I am particularly interested in studying the morphology and differential expression of autophagy-linked genes in monolayer and hydrogel cultures of brain and breast cancer cells.
